The test is designed to check that all sensors are functioning correctly and to catch faulty components.
Test
- Robot does not do anything regardless of the surface underneath it but the programme is running - problem with the reflectance sensor
- Robot keeps moving forward or backward - problem with range sensor
- Robot only performs one of the sequences (facing the wall or gripper + LED) - problem with reflectance sensor
- Robot does not perform the sequence of LED colour changes and/or gripper movements correctly - problem with LED eyes/gripper
- Robot turns instead of going straight/ performs gripper movements and counter operations but does not move on a piece of paper - problem with motors.
